Thank you for taking interest in my work. like many people, I began drawing as a child. I stopped drawing when I went into the workforce in my late teenage years. In my mid twenties I went to College for fire science and became a firefighter/EMT. A few years later I became a police officer in Portland, Oregon. after 11 years with Portland police bureau, I was diagnosed with narcolepsy, which ended my career. to cope with the loss of my identity, I began oil painting. I am grateful to be able to create. it helps me stay grounded and focus on the important things.
